Office space for rent in Perth

Perth concentrates its offices along one street: 46 units in 5 buildings, most on or beside Saint Georges Terrace, the terrace that carries the resources companies that built the city's business district. Rates run $336 to $816 per m² a year, units 5 m² to 520 m², median 58 m².

The Terrace and beyond

Saint Georges Terrace runs west to east through central Perth and is the address that signals a serious mining, energy or professional-services presence. Murray Street Mall sits a block north in the retail core, and Havelock Street lies at the West Perth end, traditionally the home of junior exploration companies — the same district, a distinctly lower rate. Scarborough Beach Road moves out towards Osborne Park and the suburban stock.

Practical notes

Perth's office rates track the resources cycle more visibly than most markets, so a rate quoted today may not hold in six months — worth asking how long the terms on offer are held open. Parking in the central Perth blocks is charged separately and is expensive by Australian standards. Each card shows area, floor and the asking rate per m² per year.
