Office space for rent in Olympia

Government sets the demand

Olympia is Washington's state capital, and office demand follows the legislative calendar — lobbying practices, associations, consultancies and law firms that need to sit near the Capitol Campus. All 10 units currently listed in Olympia are in one building, The WSECU Building on Union Avenue Southeast, inside the downtown core and within walking distance of the state agencies.

Unit sizes

Sizes in Olympia span 5 m² to 220 m², with a median of 60 m². A 60 m² office holds a small government-relations team plus a meeting room, while the 5 m² entry covers the seasonal pattern typical of a capital: an individual who needs a desk near the legislature during session and very little the rest of the year.

What a single building means

With every one of Olympia's 10 available units under one roof, timing matters more than searching: equivalent space in Olympia does not appear on demand, so a tenant that must be in place before a session opens should reserve a size band early instead of running a long market survey.
